|
Jiangxin Islet lies in the middle reaches of the Oujiang River
with a total area of some 700 thousand
square metres.It is one of the 4 most
famous islets in China.The islet,rich
in beautiful sceneries,historic sistes
and cultural landscapes,is a shiningpearl
on the Oujiang River and has been always
called a "fairyland of immortals".Renowned
poets and celebrities of past ages,such
as Li Bai,Du FU,Meng Haoran,Xie Linyun,Lu
You and Wen Tianxiang,hadbeen visiting
the islet in succession, leaving behind
a coollection of nearly 800 pieces of
poetry singing in praise of the islet,The
two soaring pagodas are ingeniously built
to fit in with the Jiangxin Temple in
